The Glass Castle

Jeannette’s father is swearing so much now. He seems that he also isn’t caring as much about his kids than he used to when they were younger. Jeannette’s father isn’t just using the basic swear words either. He is also using very raunchy and very sexual words. The worst part is, is that he is using these terrible and sexual words towards Jeannette’s mother. The kinds of swear words that he uses is very offensive and this shows a very immature side to him which worries me. A part in the story that I have recently read showed Jeannette’s father what I call a type of abusing, Jeannette’s mother. The father is very upset with Jeannette’s mom for a dumb reason and he takes it way to far. Jeannette’s mom gets so furious and upset that she runs away which causes Jeannette’s dad to chase her with the car. This is very childish to me. After awhile he finally catches his wife and he physically drags her from her legs and throws her into his car. To me I feel that something isn’t right in their relationship. The weirdest part is that the next day Jeannette’s mom forgets about the whole situation as if nothing has happened.
